The strategy S5 and its role in reducing product cost An analytical study of the opinions of a sample of workers in the production department of the Central Refineries Company
Abstract
The researcher aims from this study to know the role played by the strategy (S5) in reducing the cost of the product within the company under study, and to shed light on the two concepts of the study in the light of the theoretical aspect, as well as to test the correlation and influence relationship between the study variables in the light of the practical aspect, and in order to achieve this Purpose The researcher designed a hypothetical chart to clarify the nature of the relationship between the study variables. The practical aspect of the study was applied in Al Wasat Refineries Company, where the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and the study sample was chosen intentionally in order to obtain the best results. 14 forms are not suitable for analysis, so 168 forms remain subject to statistical analysis, and the total response rate by respondents was 85.7%. In order to test the hypotheses of the study, the researcher used a set of statistical tools, including (normal distribution test, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability coefficient (Cronbach's alpha), Pearson correlation coefficient, and structural equation modeling). He relied on the statistical analysis programs, which are (SPSS V. 23), and (Amos V. 23). The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is the existence of a negative statistically significant correlation and effect between the strategy S5 and the reduction of product costs. The five in all its dimensions, as well as the balance between the quality of its products and reducing the costs of those products.
