Abstract

The Iraqi novel has witnessed a remarkable development and a continuous increase in addressing artistic developments. The Iraqi novelistic achievement has witnessed several transformations, whether at the level of the topics it has raised or at the level of exploring new areas of experimentation. The novel is the most important narrative art among all narrative arts, as it is distinguished from them and occupies the lead in terms of its popularity in study and reading alike. The reason for this is due to its distinctive architecture and unique specificity, in addition to the fact that it is more capable of depicting people's concerns and addressing their social problems. This is what Atyaf  Sanidah worked on in her novel, the subject of our research, to address from topics related to politics, sex and social reality, as the narrative novelistic text represents a large arena in which contradictory ideas, multiple philosophies and many opinions meet; due to the complexity of the events expressed on the one hand, and the multiplicity of conflicting characters on the other hand.
